“This is My Jam”

This is a term normally attributed to music but I’ll take it as a relevant expression for my enjoyment of photography.

I’ve been at this ‘seriously’ since 2015. I’ve had some wins and some disappointments. I don’t work at the level of those that get book deals and get sought by galleries. I live in a small town outside a big city. I make my own books and sell them where I can. I print my own work and will gladly sell you one. I don’t have tens of thousands of followers on social media but I meet with like minded locals who share a passion for this craft. I don’t really have a photographic style, I just take a photo when like what I see. I can be a bit of a gear head sometimes but I care not about the latest camera technology, preferring the “simple gear is better” approach. My photographic heroes are those that persist and endure outside of the gaze of glorification.
